Jasmine Jackson

Jasmine grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Memphis, and a Master of Arts in Education from Union University. Jasmine taught English Language Arts for seven years across grades 5th-8th. She was then promoted to the role of ELA Curriculum Specialist for grades 6-12, supporting English Teachers across 5 schools in developing their instructional practices through rigorous curriculum implementation and tailored coaching models. She served in this role two years before being promoted to the Director of Academics for Green Dot Public Schools. In this role, Jasmine managed a team of Curriculum Specialists across all core content areas and developed the Response to Intervention program for the district. Jasmine joined The DBQ project in July 2023.
