Kathryn Adkins

Regional Lead

Originally from North Carolina and currently residing in Virginia, Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in History Education with a minor in American Studies from Elon University and a Master of Education from the University of Virginia. With a decade of experience as a social studies teacher, she has taught subjects ranging from World History to US History and African American History, accommodating inclusion classes to AP-level students. Kathryn most recently was the Social Studies Coordinator in Danville Public Schools. Kathryn joined the DBQ Project in 2023.
